History

The Nebraska Dog and Hunt Club was established with the American Kennel Club on December 11, 1945. It is an AKC Member Club. The mission of the Nebraska Dog and Hunt Club was to enhance their retrievers' skills and to compete in non-slip licensed events.

Initially when the club started with one field trial per year and now has evolved to two field trials and two hunt tests per year.
